Robin Olsen has joined Everton on a season-long loan from Roma to rival Jordan Pickford as first choice goalkeeper.
The Sweden international was the club’s sixth summer signing of a busy transfer window.
A statement on the club’s official website said: “Everton have completed the signing of goalkeeper Robin Olsen on a season-long loan from AS Roma.”

Olsen moved to Roma from Copenhagen in the summer of 2018 as a replacement for Alisson, who left for Liverpool.
He won back-to-back league and cup doubles in Denmark, but has struggled to assert himself in Serie A.
He spent last season on loan at Cagliari and now moves to Merseyside, with Roma manager Paulo Fonseca preferring Pau Lopez as his No.1.
Olsen follows Niels Nkounkou, Allan, Abdoulaye Doucoure, James Rodriguez and Ben Godfrey at Goodison.
