Former minister of aviation Femi Fani-Kayode last week blasted Daily Trust’s correspondent, Eyo Charles at a press conference over a question he asked.
The PDP chieftain had held a press conference in Calabar,Cross River State at the end of his tour of states in the South-South region controlled by the party.
The journalist got more than he bargain for after he asked a question about “Who was bankrolling Fani Kayode’s tour to South South States”.
The ex-minister in a viral video that got leaked on Tuesday was seen attacking the journalist and calling him stupid for asking the ex-minister if his tour was being sponsored by any politician or political group.
“I’m saying this live on TV, put that thing down, what kind of stupid question is that? Bankrolling who? Do you know who you are talking to? I will not take any further questions from this man. Who you do think you are talking to? Go and report yourself to your publisher. I don’t want to take questions from this man, very stupid.“, Fani Kayode told the journalist who was on his feet.

“I could see from your face before you got here, how stupid you are. Don’t ever talk to me like that. Who do you think you’re talking to. Bankroll who? You think I am one of those ones you… from who, when, how? You have a small mind, very small mind. Don’t judge me by your own standards.
He added: “I’ve been in politics since 1990, I’m not one of this politicians you think will just come. I’ve been locked up how many times by this govern, suffered. I’ve been prosecuted, unlike most of the politicians who you follow for brown envelope.“
