Nigeria has recorded 79 new cases of the Coronavirus in thirteen States and the federal capital territory.
The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed this on Sunday, making it the lowest figure in several months.
Of the new cases, 30 were recorded in Lagos and 17 in Kaduna. Other States include: Ogun-7, Anambra- 5, Kano- 4, Katsina-3, FCT-3, Akwa Ibom-3, Oyo-2, Rivers-2, Delta-1, Plateau- 1 and Ondo-1.

The new cases now bring the number of confirmed infections in the country to 56,256.
44,152 have recovered and have been discharged from the different isolation centres while 1,078 have lost their lives.
