Ekiti State has recorded four new cases of coronavirus in the state, bringing to eight the number of confirmed cases.
This is contained In a statement signed by Governor Kayode Fayemi.
The Statement explained that the victims contracted the disease from the state’s fourth index case, a 45-year-old medical doctor who also contracted the virus from the pregnant woman who sneaked into the state.
The Statement also clarified that the new positive cases are stable and show no symptoms of the deadly disease, saying they have been transferred to the Ekiti Isolation Centre for treatment.
