Atanda adjourned the case until Oct. 8, for DPP’s advice.

The defendant, whose address was not provided, is facing a two-count charge of breaking in and stealing.

Earlier, the Prosecutor, Insp Ken Brasana, told the court that the defendant committed the offences on July 17 at 12.30 a.m. at Egboodi Street Abeege, Erinkojaobe, Ibadan,

Brasana said that the defendant broke into the house of the complainant, Mrs. Johnson Akwegamhe and stole the wires.

He said that the defendant was caught by security guards and handed over to the police.

Brasana said the offences contravened Sections 383 and and 411 (2) of the Criminał Law of Oyo State, 2000.
