Adamawa State Governor , Ahmadu Fintiri has commissioned an ICT centre for the state scholarship Trust Fund.
The Governor who expressed delight at the opportunity to commission the ICT Centre said it was made possible by a donation from MEWAR University, India.
The Governor thanked the MEWAR University India for not only granting scholarship to 60 students from Adamawa State to study engineering but forgoing a step further to provide the computers and facilities required for a Full-Fledged ICT Centre so that the students can attend virtual classes in India due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

According to him the center will also enable the students not to miss an Academic Session and to keep abreast with academic activities, whenever they can resume fully in India.
He also commended the management of the Scholarship Trust Fund for working to ensure that our students who are yet to resume classes in India due to the Pandemic are assisted in getting the necessary class sessions through digital means.
The Governor, therefore, urge the students to take advantage of this opportunity to prove themselves worthy of their selection.
Speaking at the event the Executive Director Scholarship Trust Fund Malam Abba Zumo commended the Governor for his giant strides in changing the narrative and the system of the entire education sector in the State.
Also, the ICT Centre is open to Civil Servants and Members of the Public wishing to become ICT compliant.
