The African Democratic Congress, ADC, has formally welcomed the publisher of Ovation Magazine, Dele Momodu, into the party.
This was contained in a statement posted on its verified X handle on Friday.
Momodu on Thursday officially joined the opposition coalition ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Shortly after making the declaration in Benin City, the Edo State capital, while addressing his followers, Momodu noted that he was promoting the interests of the people and not running for any office in the state.
Reacting to the defection, the ADC said, “We are delighted to officially welcome the Publisher of Ovation International and former presidential candidate of the National Conscience Party, Dele Momodu, to the ADC. You made the right choice.”
