Nigeria progressed to the quarterfinals in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco after an emphatic 4-0 win over Mozambique on Monday night.
This is the first time they are winning their first four fixtures at the tournament in history.
Ademola Lookman opened the scoring, providing two assists for Victor Osimhen.
Lookman provided two assists for Victor Osimhen in the 25th minute and Akor Adams (75th) apart from scoring Nigeria’s opening goal in the 20th minute with assist from Adams.
The result set up the Super Eagles against either Algeria or DR Congo, who play their Round of 16 match tomorrow.
Early in the day, Egypt had beaten Benin Republic 3-1 in extra time to advance to the last eight and face Cote d’Ivoire or Burkina Faso.
