Following the resignation of Ifedayo Abegunde as the Secretary to the Ondo State Government on Monday,Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has announced the appointment of Temitayo Oluwatuyi (Tukana)as the new SSG in the state.
The Governor made this known at a Press Briefing at the Government House Alagbaka, Akure on Monday.
“Today, I announced the appointment of Hon. Temitayo Oluwatuyi “Tukana” as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) to resume immediately following the resignation of Hon. Ifedayo Abegunde.”
Before his new appointment as the SSG, Hon Oluwatuyi was the State’s Commissioner for Natural Resources.
The Governor also announced his recovery from the coronavirus.This is coming a week after he said to have tested positive for the virus.
“I received news this morning that I tested Negative for Covid. I am grateful for all your support and prayers. We will win the Covid 19 fight in Ondo State. ”
While imploring the people of the state to continue to stay safe ,Akeredolu said COVID19 testing have commenced at FMC Owo.
” We have commenced Covid19 testing at the Federal Medical Center, Owo while the Akure Testing Centre will also commence in due course. Our third center in Ondo is currently being designed.”
