Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, has been sworn in for a second term in office as the Governor of Ondo State.
The oath of office was administered to him on Wednesday alongside his deputy, Lucky Aiyedatiwa by the Chief Judge of the State, Olarenwaju Akeredolu.
The event was held at the International Culture and Event Center, Igbatoro Road, Akure with under strict COVID-19 protocols as against the usual big event with large crowd and fanfare.
Akeredolu was reelected for his second term on October 10,2020 defeating Peoples Democratic Party candidate, Eyitayo Jegede, and his former Deputy , Agboola Ajayi, who contested on the platform of the Zenith Labour Party.
Present at the second term inauguration ceremony are Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State; Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State; Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State, Gboyega Oyetola of Osun State and Former Governor and APC chieftain, Bisi Akande among other dignitaries.
