The Ondo State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Yemi Olowolabi has attributed the victory of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu in the just concluded Gubernatorial Election to his achievements and style of governance; which was characterized by openness and honesty; in the course of his administration as Governor of the state in his first term in office.
He said this recently in a chat with Journalists shortly after the official announcement by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declaring Governor Akeredolu as the winner of the election.
Olowolabi saluted the doggedness of the people of Ondo State for being grateful for the good works of the Governor and for rewarding Arakunrin Akeredolu with their votes which led to him winning his re-election bid.

He remarked that the love which the people displayed for the Governor was seen in the way they displayed uncommon enthusiasm by coming out enmasse to vote.
The Commissioner went on to assure the people of the state of better days ahead as the Governor; who is noted for his honesty and “Talk-and-Do” attributes; had promised more reinvigorated people-oriented services to the citizens of Ondo State in his second term.
