Jude Okoye, the elder brother and former manager to the iconic P-square duo has finally regained his freedom after spending over two months in EFCC custody.
Jude was arraigned before the court on Wednesday by the EFCC over a p[etition filed against him by his younger brother, Peter Okoye.
Jude is being tried over an alleged money laundering offence involving N1.38 billion, $1 million, and £34,537.59.
He was charged alongside his company, Northside Music Limited, on seven counts filed by the EFCC. Jude has since denied the allegations.
He was granted bail on March 6 but the court ordered he be remanded in custody pending the fulfillment of his bail conditions.
Celebrating his brother’s release Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy took to Instagram with a fiery post.
“Jude is finally out after 2months + .. all their efforts to frustrate his bail has finally collapsed. Welcome home brother @judeengees. And happy birthday,”
He also shared a video showing the moment Ifeoma, Jude’s wife welcomed her husband with a hug.
