The President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Joe Ajaero, visted the Force Headquarters at the Federal Capital Territory to honour a police invitation.
He had arrived at the Intelligence Response Team (IRT) command at Guzape as early as 10:20 a.m on Thursday.
Human Rights activist Femi Falana, SAN, Deji Adeyanju and other lawyers accompanied the Labour leader to the Force headquarters.
The police authorities had invited Ajaero for questioning over alleged links to terrorism financing.
Before honouring the invitation, labour members had gathered at the headquarters of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) on Thursday in solidarity with their President.
As early as 8:am, the Labour leaders had started converging on the NLC HQ to rally support for the number of workers in the country.
He left the headquarters of the police Intelligence Response Team at about 11:15am after writing his statement.
The NLC leader did not speak to journalists at the IRT headquarters but promised to speak at the labour headquarters.
