Nollywood actress and reality star Annie Macaulay has revealed plans to launch her own online television station, Annie Macaulay TV.
Annie who is navigating her recent separation from her husband, Innocent Idibia popularly known as 2Baba is taking bold steps to carve a new path for herself.
She made the disclosure in an interview with BBC Pidgin at the 17th Headies Awards on April 28, 2025.
According to her, a new series is set to premiere on her online TV platform soon.
“Right now, I’m working on my own TV station, my own online TV, Annie Macaulay TV. I want everyone to be ready for different things. We’ve already done a series which will soon air on Annie Macaulay TV, very soon,” she said, hinting at the exciting new content viewers can expect.
When asked about her personal life, Annie spoke proudly of her family’s resilience, particularly during this transitional period. She highlighted the importance of her children in her life, saying, “My children dey kampe, my family dey kampe. My first daughter is abroad studying, don’t play with her o, don’t play with my kids, they are my backbone.”
Annie’s candidness and confidence also made waves at the event, especially after she gave a public shoutout to fellow single women. Her words quickly went viral, sparking widespread online discussions.
Meanwhile, her estranged husband, 2Baba, has recently made headlines for publicly reconciling with his mother, Rose Idibia, after a period of reported family tension.
