All Progressives Congress National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu has reportedly announced Senate President, Dr. Ahmed Lawan as the party’s consensus candidate.
This is coming as the party begins its presidential primary election in the nation’s capital, Abuja.

Adamu was said to have made the announcement at the meeting of the National Working Committee on Monday.
Adamu’s decision is contrary to the decision of the Northern governors to shift power to the South.
