Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade has suspended the Chairman of Calabar Carnival Commission, Mr Gabe Onah.
Onah’s suspension is contained in a statement signed on Monday by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Publicity, Mr Christian Ita.
According to the statement, the suspension takes immediate effect, although no reason was given for the suspension of the commission’s chairman.
Onah’s suspension is coming two days after the commission held its maiden award night in Calabar.
