The Jigawa State Governor Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has promised to ensure unity among the members of the All Progressives Congress APC across the country.
The Governor made the statement while briefing newsmen at the party’s headquarters in Abuja after their inauguration as a committee on contact and strategy, which the Governor would chair.
According to the Governor, the APC under his committee would try and bring back individuals that have left the party and would also woo new members across the country.
“We as a party and with the new responsibility bestowed upon us as a committee, we would ensure that the unity of this great party is not tempered with. And we would ensure peace and stability among our members in all the thirty six States of the federation.” the Governor said.
“Some people were offended and they left the party for that reason, some people also have good intentions for the country but are not in out party. So, our duty in this committee would be to bring back those that have left the party and to woo new members that have good intentions for Nigeria.” Badaru added.
