Big brother Naija housemate Zita, has been crowned new Head of House, HOH for week 8, dethroning interim HoH, Koyin.
The Head of House game that took place on Sunday after the live eviction show, saw Koyin emerge victorious.
The intense challenge saw Faith, Thelma Lawson, Bright Morgan, Zita, and Kola battle it out, the same finalists from Sunday’s contest.
In the end, Zita pulled ahead to snatch the coveted HOH spot from Koyin’s grasp.
For her reign, Zita chose Kola as her guest to enjoy the exclusive HOH lounge perks.
This marks Zita’s second impressive ‘coup’, having also unseated Doris in Week Four. Back then, she picked Rooboy as her guest, proving she hasn’t shifted from keeping key allies close in her winning strategy.
Koyin, who emerged HOH for Week Eight on Sunday after outperforming Faith, Bright Morgan, Kola, Thelma Lawson, and Zita in a two-part competition, had chosen Jason Jae as his lounge partner.
His reign, however, was cut short by Zita’s victory.
Earlier, Koyin read out this week’s brief to the house, revealing the theme “Flying Solo.” Housemates are required to focus on self-discovery while working in pairs to prepare cultural presentations on selected Nigerian states.
The success of the wager will determine their food supply for next week.
Meanwhile, Faith was announced as the Most Influential Player, granting him automatic immunity for the week. He was also voted by the housemates to coordinate all the pairs as through their wager performances
