BREAKING: 183 New Coronavirus Cases Confirmed In Lagos

Three Hundred and Eighty One new cases of the coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Nigeria by the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) with Lagos recording One hundred and eighty three(183) the highest number since the outbreak.

According to the latest update as of 11.20 pm on Thursday May 7, 2020, Nigeria has recorded 3526 confirmed cases of the deadly virus. Also 107 deaths have been recorded  and 601 infected patients discharged.

A breakdown of the latest update also shows that 55 of the new cases were reported in Kano, 44 in Jigawa,19each in Zamfara and Bauchi ,11 in Katsina,9 in Borno,8 in Kwara,7 in Kaduna,6 in Gombe, 5 in Ogun ,4 in Sokoto, 3 in Oyo and Rivers,2 in Niger and 1 each in Aiwa Ibom,Enugu and Plateau.

One thousand four hundred and ninety-one(1,491) of the total figures are however in Lagos which has remained the epicenter in Nigeria.
