The Chief of Protocol, COP, to the Governor of Ondo State, Tosin Ogunbodede is dead.
He died this evening in a ghastly road accident along Ibadan-Ilesa Express Way.
Details of the road mishap are still sketchy but reliable sources said that the late COP and his driver were confirmed dead at Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa.
Ogunbodede, a lawyer and former staff of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, was appointed as Chief of Protocol, COP, by Ondo Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on assumption of office in 2017.
Two weeks ago, the Governor lost his Commissioner for Regional Integration and Special Duties, Professor Bayonile Ademodi, who died at the OAU Teaching Hospital Ile Ife as a result of complications from surgical operations
