American president, Donald Trump has been impeached on Wednesday by the house of Congress.
His impeachment which was premised on abuse of power and obstruction of Congress proceedings was followed by 230 to 197 votes at the House of Representatives controlled by the Democrats.
The higher votes against him however set up a trial for the senate to remove him from the office.
Donald Trump, the 45th US president will be the third American president to be impeached from White House.
