The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control has confirmed additional 162 new cases of coronavirus in the country even as Gombe takes the lead.
The national figure is however lower than the 170 cases recorded on Friday.
The centre in it’s update on Saturday night reported that the new cases were confirmed in thirteen States and the FCT.
This takes the total confirmed Coronavirus cases in the country to 62,853, with 58,675 survivors discharged and 1,144 deaths recorded.
Gombe State topped the chart with 54 new cases followed by FCT with 35 new Infections while Lagos State the usual epicenter recorded 26new cases.
Other States with new Infections are; Ogun-12, Plateau-10, Rivers-10, Kaduna-4, Ekiti-3
