The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control,NCDC says additional 437 persons have tested positive to COVID-19 in the country bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 46,577.
The NCDC announced this via it’s Twitter handle on Sunday night.
The new cases were recorded in 16 states including the federal capital territory. Lagos recorded the highest Infections with 107 new cases followed by FCT with 91 new cases.

Other states with new cases are,Plateau-81, Kaduna-32, Ogun-30, Kwara-24, Ebonyi-19, Ekiti-17, Oyo-8, Borno-6,Edo-6, Kano-4, Nasarawa-3, Osun-3, Taraba-3, Gombe-2 and Bauchi-1 .
Meanwhile, a total of 33,186 have been treated and discharged while 945 people have lost their lives to the virus.
