The NCDC has confirmed 146 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday 12th May bringing the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria 4,787
Giving its daily update ,the center via its verified Twitter handle, reported that the new cases were from 20 states across the nation with Lagos – 57,Kano – 27, Kwara – 10, Edo – 9,Bauchi – 8,Yobe -7,Kebbi and Oyo each has 4,Katsina and Niger – 3, Plateau,Borno,Benue and Sokoto recorded 2 new cases while Gombe,Enugu,Ebonyi,Ogun,FCT and Rivers recorded 1 new cases each.
All total of 959 cases have been discharged and 158 deaths recorded across 34 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
