The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on friday recorded 126 new COVID19 infections in the country even as the country’s cases got 59,127.
The NCDC made this known on its official twitter handle on Friday. The new cases were reported in 11 States and the federal capital territory.
Lagos state recorded the highest number of cases with 62 new Infections followed by Rivers with 22 new cases.

Other states with new Infections are: Ogun-9, Plateau-7 ,FCT – 7, Osun-5, Kwara-5, Taraba-3, Bayelsa-2, Abia-2, Zamfara-1 and Imo-1.
The NCDC also discharged 141 patients from isolation centres across the country bringing the total number of discharge cases to 50,593.
Meanwhile the casualties still stands at 1,112.
