The federal government says it has so far evacuated 2,322 Nigerians from the United States of America since the outbreak of the pandemic.
The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, NIDCOM announced this while welcoming passengers on the last evacuation flight from the USA on Friday.
The Commission the said Ethiopian Airline arrived Nigeria with 208 evacuees on board from Newark New Jersey with 87 Male, 111 female, and 10 infants, with a total of 89 passengers for Abuja and 119 for Lagos.
Also on Friday,271 evacuees arrived Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja from London United Kingdom via Air Europa.
According to NIDCOM ,all evacuees tested Negative and will all proceed on a 14-day SELF ISOLATION as mandated by NCDC and the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19.
