The Nigeria Center for Disease Control has confirmed 170 new cases of COVID-19 in the country taking the total confirmed cases to 62,691.
The Health agency announced this in a tweet on Friday night via it’s official Twitter handle.
According to the NCDC,the new cases were recorded in 10 states and the federal capital territory.Lagos State recorded the highest cases with 106 new cases followed by FCT with 25 new Infections.

Other states with new Infections are; Oyo-14, Edo-7, Kaduna-7, Ogun-4 ,Bauchi-2, Benue-2, Kano-1,Osun-1,Rivers-1
According to the health agency 58,430 patients have been treated successfully and discharged from different isolation centres across the country while a total of 1,144 have lost their lives.
