Nigeria has recorded 164 new COVID-19 cases according to the latest data released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
In its latest update on Monday night, NCDC said the new cases were recorded in the FCT and 14 other states.
While Lagos remains the epicentre of the virus with 64 new cases, the Federal Capital Territory recorded 26 infections.

The other states with fresh infection include Enugu – 20, Kaduna and Oyo – 11, Plateau – 8, Ondo – 7, Anambra – 4, Nasarawa and Osun – 3, Ebonyi and Imo – 2, Benue, Katsina and Ogun – 1.
With the new infections, the number of cases in the country is now at 60,430 with 51,943 persons successfully treated and discharged.
However, the death toll still stands at 1,115.
