Why conveying the Unit’s heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, he assured them that the Customs remains committed to their welfare.

During the visit, he extended the condolences of the Comptroller-General of Customs and the entire NCS family to the widow, children and relatives of the deceased officer.

He reassured them of the Service’s continued commitment to the welfare of its personnel, both in active service and beyond.

He further affirmed that the Service will leave no stone unturned in its determination to pursue justice. “A thorough investigation is ongoing, with every available resource mobilised to identify, apprehend and bring the perpetrators of this unfortunate incident to book and ensure they face the full wrath of the law.”
