Ahead of the 66th Academy Grammy Awards, Nigerian popular singer, David Adeleke fondly called Davido, is set to headline UnitedMasters Grammy Weekend Concert.
The Awards will take place on Sunday, February 4, at Crypto Com Arena in Los Angeles.
Davido, will be performing alongside Dominican rapper, Tokischa and South Africa-based DJ Artist, Uncle Waffles.
The concert will take place at the Hollywood Palladium on Friday, February 2, 2024.
Last year’s event drew in over 2,500 fans and had in attendance Jay Z and Beyonce, Nas, DJ Khaled, Wiz Khalifa, Future, Damson Idris and others.
Since the release of his comeback album, Timeless, Davido has been soaring high as his album now has over a billion streams.
His new album had brought the singer more recognition and had made him a Grammy nominee. Timeless bagged 3 nominations for Best Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Global Music Album at the 2024 Grammy.
Speaking on his nomination, Davido affirmed that delay isn’t denial, especially since his contemporaries, Burna Boy and Wizkid have been recognised by the academy.
