Renowned Nigerian music executive, Michael Collins Ajereh popularly known as Don Jazzy has dubbed his former labelmate, Wande Coal, the best vocalist in the Nigerian music industry.
He made this claim via his X account on Wednesday, November 12 after a fan had praised Don Jazzy, saying he has the best and most unique voice in the Nigerian music industry.
However, in his response, Don Jazzy said that while he agrees he has the most unique voice, Wande Coal has the best.
He wrote, “Most unique I agree, best na Wande [Coal].”
Equally, Wande Coal is widely regarded as one of the finest Afrobeats vocalists, with several artists such as Wizkid, Fireboy DML, and Oxlade admitting that he inspired them.
