Following the death of Dr. Wahab Adegbenro, the erstwhile Commissioner for Health in Ondo State, Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN has approved that the Special Adviser on Health, Dr Jibayo Adeyeye takes over responsibilities of overseeing the Ministry of Health.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the Governor, Ojo Oyewamide.
Dr Jibayo Adeyeye was a two-term lawmaker at the Lagos State House of Assembly and a product of the College of Medicine, University of Lagos.
According to the statement,Dr.Adeyeye’s new roles takes immediate effect.
