Days after the NWC of APC disqualified Edo State Governor Edwin Obaseki from recontesting ,the Governor visited Gov. Nyesom Wike at the Government House, Port Harcourt on Sunday.
The purpose of the visit was however, not disclosed but the two governors held a closed-door meeting at the Government House.
Governor Obaseki was also in Uyo, the capital of Akwa Ibom State, on Sunday where he had a meeting with Governor Udom Emmanuel also at the Government House.
Meanwhile,the Independent National Electoral Commission has slated Sept. 19 for the governorship poll in Edo.
