Ekiti: Police arrest father for allegedly defiling teenage daughter

A 45-year-old man, Taiwo Ojo has been arrested by the police for allegedly having carnal knowledge of his 13-year-old daughter in Ekiti State. 

The suspect, who is a council worker was arrested in Ojido Street, Ado-Ekiti after a tip-off by some members of his community who observed the immoral act.

It was alleged that the suspect began to defile the teenager a few years ago after her mother passed away.

According to witnesses, the suspect started the act at Inisa Street where he was residing before but he relocated to Ojido after people became suspicious.

In her statement with the police, the minor confirmed the allegation and said she had lost count of how many times the father slept with her.
