Minister of State, Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo has called for the release of a videographer, Nicolas Makolomi, whose viral video clip sparked outrage on social media last weekend.
Makolomi had released a clip showing the moment when some personnel of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS), arrested a man identified as Joshua Ambrose in Ugheli, Delta State.
In the video, the arrested man fell from the vehicle conveying him and some FSARS personnel to an undisclosed location.

Makolomi, who admitted to making the video, was arrested on Monday.
Reacting to his arrest, Keyamo described Makolomi’s action as an act of patriotism and urged the police to release him.
“I urge the Police to release this gentleman and drop all charges against him. His wrong judgment of the victim’s state nonetheless, by recording the incident and releasing it, he did a patriotic duty as a citizen. This is purely a case of leaving the substance and chasing shadows,” Keyamo tweeted.
