A peaceful demonstration by #EndSARS protesters in Surulere area of Lagos has ended in tragedy, with the shooting of one of the protesters allegedly by police.
Report says the protest was peaceful until some armed policeman shot at one of them, a man who seems to be in his 20s.
Video circulating online showed some of the protesters trying to save the life of the victim who was laying unconscious on the grass.

Courage Ngele, one of the protesters announced the tragedy:
We just lost a Nigerian to a gunshot, at the Surulere protest 💔💔💔💔
The medical team did their best to keep him alive. The young Nigerian also put up a good fight.
Unfortunately, he couldn’t make it.”he tweeted
The killing followed yet another in Ogbomosho, where police killed another youngster identified as Jimoh.
