The Federal Government has evacuated 292 Nigerians stranded in Saudi Arabia due to the COVID-19 lockdown in the two countries.
The flight conveying the evacuees arrived at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja late on Tuesday night.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama announced their arrival on Wednesday morning by via his official Twitter handle.
He disclosed that the Saudi Government transported them to Abuja, adding that a large number are nursing mothers and children, who have been comfortably settled in hotels under the mandatory 14 days quarantine.
