Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri has flagged off the distribution of Instructional Materials to 1,968 Schools across the State through the State Universal Basic Education Board, ADSUBEB.
Governor Fintiri said the decision is in demonstration of government’s determination to revamp basic education sector in the state
The Governor emphasised the overall policy of government which seeks to provide education that will equip all beneficiaries with the necessary attitude, knowledge and skills to contribute to Nation-Building.

He added that his adminstration has embarked on massive rehabilitation and construction of schools across the State, constructing blocks of 3 classrooms and offices in over 300 Schools, rehabilitation of classrooms and offices in 400 schools as well as the provision of 87 VIP toilets.
The State government has also embarked on a deliberate policy to provide 20,000 sets of desks and chairs, computers and Internet facilities to 9 schools in the first phase.
Governor Finitiri said provision of Instructional Materials to 1,968 schools further demonstrates government’s resolve to transform the educational sector.
He however appealed to Parents and Guardians compliment government’s effort and see the education of their children as a necessary obligation.
