Two vehicles were on Friday night burnt to ashes as a fully laden petrol tanker went into flames at Anthony inward Gbagada axis of Lagos State.
The Director General of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, Dr Olufemi Damilola Oke-Osanyintolu in a statement said the agency received distressed calls on the incident.
The tanker with unknown registration number reportedly lost control while in motion and subsequently fell sideways.
The incident led to an explosion in which two unidentified vehicles were burnt.

The statement read, “A joint team of responders led by DG LASEMA, LASG fire service, LRU fire unit, Nigeria Police and LASTMA are working together to curb the inferno from escalating further.
“Casualties cannot be ascertained at this time. Rescue operation ongoing. Updates to follow.”
