Nasarawa state Governor Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule has condemned the attacks on some media outfits in the country, describing it as an affront on democracy and free speech.
In a letter delivered to the Management of TV Continental, TVC in Lagos, Governor Sule sympathises with the station over the destruction and looting of its head office in Lagos.
He describes as unfortunate the hijacking of the EndSars protest by hoodlums leading to avoidable loss of lives and property.

The Governor praised the resilience of the station while urging that it maintain its professionalism in the field of journalism.
In his response on behalf of the management of TVC, the Chief Executive Officer Mr. Andrew Hanlon thanked Governor Sule for identifying with the station, expressing the gratitude of the management and staff.
Mr. Hanlon promised that TVC will emerge stronger and better.
A similar letter conveying the sympathy of the government and people of Nasarawa state was delivered to the leadership of the Nation Newspapers.
