Gunmen have abducted six persons in Kufana town, Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
It was gathered that the gunmen invaded the community in the early hours of Monday, September 13, and whisked the victims away to an unknown destination.
According to security analyst Zagazola Makama, the victims included a prominent community leader and former Education Secretary, Mr Samuel Dangiwa.
Sources said military personnel and local youths had since launched a pursuit to rescue the abducted persons.
As at the time of filing this report, efforts were ongoing to track the kidnappers and ensure the safe return of the victims.
