Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have killed a vigilante and raped two girls in Kpaduma 3, a community near Asokoro Extention, in Abuja.
It was gathered that the gunmen invaded the community on Monday night, September 15, 2025, attacked houses and exchanged fire with local vigilantes.
The attack which lasted for over few hours was described as one of the most terrifying incidents in the community, as bullets and a grenade-like blast were heard by commuters.
Eyewitnesses who spoke with Nigerian Tribune said the attackers came from a nearby village called Kobi, adding that some people were injured.
One of the residents said two girls were raped while the vigilante identified as “Bako” was shot dead during the attack.
