Hospitality industry in Ikenne Remo area of Ogun State is set to get a big boost with the opening of a state-of-the-art hotel and suites; Memorable Lounge; in the Olubajo area of the ancient town.
Memorable Lounge is a 26-room hotel consisting of Standard, Classic, Premium, Executive, Suite, and Signature Rooms. Other facilities in the foremost hotel are the Unisex Salons, standard-sized Swimming Pool, Departmental Stores, Clubhouse, Sharwama Joint, Cocktail Booth, Gym, stately Restaurant, Bar Corner and a world-class Kitchen to cater for the needs of clients. The hotel also boasts of a 24-hour uninterrupted power supply and a formidable all-round security arrangement including CCTV cameras.
The hotel is owned by the duo of Mr Seun Ajayi and wife; Ronke Ajayi. The Ajayis are not new to the hospitality industry. The delectable couple are the owners of Memorable Events; comprising of Wine Servicing and other services.

In his speech, Mr Seun Ajayi was full of gratitude to God for the enablement of his grace to complete the edifice despite daunting challenges faced especially during the lockdown due to the Covid-19 period.
“We want to thank God for giving us the enablement to complete this edifice and present it for commissioning today, despite the many challenges we encountered especially during the period of Covid-19 lockdown where importation of materials for this project became a daunting one”
“I especially want to thank my darling wife for her support for me and for the family. I can boldly say it without mincing words that everything I have achieved and attained in life is due to the support of my wife.”
“For us at Memorable Lounge, our vision is to exceed our guest expectations in a memorable way; and our mission is to talk value, not price.”
The highpoint of the event was the commissioning of the hotel by the wife of the Ogun State Governor; Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun.
Her words: “I bring good tidings on behalf of my family and the Ogun State Government on the occasion of the opening of this grand edifice. I have gone round and the beauty and splendour it showcases, amazes me, personally.”
