On Thursday, two robbers who were notorious for robbing Point of Sale operators in Yenagoa were allegedly burnt down by mob around the area.
It was gathered that the hoodlums have approached the operator in an SUV pretending to come and patronize the service.
On getting closer to her, they ordered her and a customer who came to make a deposit to bring out all their monies at gun point.
But rather, the victims reportedly raised alarm which attracted the passers-by and other youths in the area.
They were subsequently apprehended, beaten, brutalized and burnt alongside their vehicle.
Confirming the incident, the state commissioner of police, Uche Anozie condemned the mob’s act and threteaned to deal with whoever is involved in the jungle justice.
