Despite being known for his occultic roles in nollywood movies, veteran actor Kanayo O. Kanayo has vowed never to part of money ritual or occultic activities in real life.
Speaking in an interview with Afia TV, the legendary thespian explained that “Nnanyi Sacrifice” was just a name someone called him during billionaire businessman, Obi Cubana’s mother’s funeral and he rejected it immediately.
The actor-cum-lawyer said the ritualist tag stuck despite his rejection
He however added that as long as he is getting paid, he doesn’t care what others call him.
“Money ritual is not good and will never be good,” Kanayo declared. I have never been a part of it and I never will be. When you hear someone refer to me as “Nnanyi Sacrifice,” it is simply the moniker they used to refer to me when Obi Cubana’s mother was buried.
One thing about names is that they stick as soon as you start to reject them. Call me whatever you want, but please send me my check. If we pay attention to the message, society will alter much more. Simply a vessel, I am.
