Vera Anyim has appealed to Nigerians to support her and help her secure a new accommodation befitting of her recent celebrity status.

Vera who is a police officer became popular after the video of her testimony earning a law degree and thus, becoming the first graduate in her family at the Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Abuja, went viral.

Vera’s testimony was interrupted by Pastor Paul Eneche who claimed that it was fake because of her spoken English and her claim that she got a Bsc in law.

However, it was later discovered that she indeed earned a law degree from the National Open University of Nigeria, NOUN.

The confirmation led to calls for appology to her from Eneche.

However in the video shared on her social media handle, She appealed to Nigerians to help her secure a new accommodation, while noting that her new ‘celebrity status’ came upon her all of a sudden as she never planned for it.

Vera Anyi said said: “I want to say to Nigerians, you know this thing that happened is a thing of joy, I never dreamed of it, it came at this moment, I never dream of being a celebrity.

“It just came all of a sudden. I never prepared for it. I want to use this medium to urge us to assist me with accommodation because I am not buoyant now to rent a house. Where I am staying now is risky and insecure. It is a very open place and everybody already knows I am a celebrity.

“When I left Abuja, some people in my compound didn’t know what was happening, but I was there, and so many of them heard what was going on. Some have said they are waiting for me. My brother, who stays with me, told me that people gathered, all waiting for me.”

“That is why I am voicing out, asking for assistance to enable me to get a place I can stay so that my life can be safe. As I’m talking to you, I’m just hiding myself so that people will not come and misbehave at my side.

“So, please, if there is any way you can help me to get accommodation where I can be secured as a human being, intelligent people know what I am talking about.

“I don’t need to move or stay anyhow. If you don’t mind, you can assist me. Nothing is too small.”

It was gathered that Vera Anyim recently returned from an all expense paid vacation to Portland Resorts Hotel, Port Harcourt

She shared many videos of her times at the resort on her Facebook page.

But now, she said she cannot return to where was living in Abuja as it has became unsafe and unbefitting of her new ‘celebrity status.’
