Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has debunked claim of him being involved in an accident.
Osinbajo on his Facebook page, thanked everyone for the calls and concerns.
He assured all that he was not involved in an accident.
“Thank you all for the calls and concern, I was not involved in an accident. On my way to the airport to travel to Ondo, we ran into an accident scene.
“My security and medical teams assisted in removing the victims of the crash from the scene.
“They have been transported to the Airforce Base hospital.”
Osinbajo’s media aide, Laolu Akande also debunked claim.
Akande said Osinbajo was on his way to airport when he came across a road traffic accident.
He disclosed that the Vice President stopped to lend assistance and ensured the victim was taken to the hospital with his convoy ambulance.
He tweeted; On his way to the airport this morning, VP came across a road traffic accident, stopped to lend assistance, & ensured victim was taken to the hospital with VP’s convoy ambulance. He then proceeded on his trip and is now in Ondo State heading to site of yesterday’s attack in Owo.
