The Ondo State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism; Mr. Yemi Olowolabi; have declared that the Idanre Hilltop Resort will soon become the cynosure of all eyes.
Olowolabi disclosed this and other sundry issues relating to the Culture and Tourism Ministry while speaking on a radio programme in Akure the state capital.
In the chat, the Commissioner revealed that the Ondo State Government has expressed it’s readiness to partner investors to take the Idanre Hilltop Resort to international standards.
Olowolabi disclosed that the perimeter fencing of the hills had begun with the area landscaping nearing completion stage.
He expressed optimism that the resort would be a viable revenue-earner for the the State government, as the economy could not be sustained on the dependence on revenues accrued from oil alone.
The Culture boss also announced that all illegal occupants of structures within the Hills would be ejected in due course while necessary arrangements have been made to beef up security in and around the premises.
