The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of seven suspected members of Eiye Confraternity at Agura, in the Ikorodu Area of the State.
The State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu made this known in a statement by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, on Sunday.
The suspected cultists were arrested on Saturday, after attacking the officials of a Vigilante Group, popularly called Agbekoya, in the area to revenge the recent attack on one of their group members by the Vigilante group.
They were said to have caused varying degrees of injuries on the Vigilante officials using machetes and guns.

Items recovered from the suspects included machetes and some charms, one green paragon bus with Reg No LAGOS APP 600 XA that was used by the suspects for their operations.
The Commissioner of Police had directed that the case be transferred to the State CID Panti, Yaba for proper investigation.
