Lagos State residents on Monday hit the streets to protest against the high level of hardship in the country.
This is coming hours to the planned mass protest scheduled for February 27 and 28 by the Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC.
The protesters were seen carrying placards of various inscriptions at Ojuelegba under bridge area of the state to make their grievances known on the current economic hardship across the country.
Security agents were also seen on ground to forestall any breakdown of law and order.
The protest was led by a human rights group identified as the “Take It Back Movement”.
